Quality Engineer (m/f/d)
For a large automotive supplier (Tier 1) we are looking for a quality engineer (m/f/d) to secure and develop product and process quality – with work on quality methods, complaint management and support of the quality management system.
Your tasks
- Ensuring and improving product and process quality in series production
- Handling customer complaints according to 8D, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Applying and moderating quality methods such as FMEA, Ishikawa, 5-Why and SPC
- Supporting APQP activities and production part approvals (PPAP / PPF)
- Taking part in process audits according to VDA 6.3 and audits according to IATF 16949
- Supporting and developing the quality management system
Your profile
- Engineering degree, technician or master craftsman with professional experience in quality management
- Experience in the automotive industry, ideally at a Tier 1 supplier
- Confident with IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, 8D and APQP
- Structured, solution-oriented way of working and assertiveness
- Good German and English skills and willingness to travel
